Happy Mother's Day Grandma

Saturday night we went to Grandma and Pap Paw's

We bought Chinese food for dinner.

We had a great time- Celebrating my wonderful Mother in law

Emma also walked across the room (I need to get on off my phone)

The story of the hand print 2012:

I saw this great idea on Pinterst for Mother's Day gifts.

Hand print flowers-- our mom would love them,

I thought Emma would be the challenging one.

She did great.

Austin loves to paint but he wanted nothing to do with getting his hand in the finger paint.

I figured oh well I guess I need plan B, but my wonderful husband was determined to get it done

SO after dinner he tried everything under the sun to get Austin to do this project. 

I think he tried candy, new toys and even promised to buy him a new car at 16,

 but nothing was working.

Austin was crying and saying I no do it daddy.It yucky.

After 2 hours he just took his hand and dipped and stamped the paper. 

30 secs later we had a masterpiece that Austin was PROUD of.

He said that's not so bad. 

Oh to be 2 again.

I love that boy!

Thanks honey for helping get it done.

11 MONTHS!!! oh my.....

Miss Emma Claire is one month from turning 1

What is Emma up to these days?

She wears 9-12 month clothes, size 2 1/2 shoes, size 3 diapers

She is down to 2 bottles one in the morning and one at bed.

She has 5 teeth 3 on the top and 2 on the bottom

She says hi, bye, mama, dada

She LOVES fruit, she will eat just about anything

She had taken her first steps this month.

She still take 2 naps a day.

She sleeps 7:30pm to 6:30 am

She is laid back most of the time

But she is impatient when it comes to eating

She wants to feed herself with a spoon.

She wants to play with whatever Austin is playing with.

She loves to push her shopping cart and stroller around

She can wave bye and blow kisses

She is our little princess.

I am so blessed to be her mommy.

(this blog is late she will be 1 in 5 days.....)

Girls Weekend

I am so THANKFUL for these ladies.

Meghan, Emma, Me, Barb and Abby

It was such a treat to have 3 of my best friends here for the weekend. 

We had so much fun laughing and catching up. 

Although it felt like we see each other everyday.

We have been friends for over 15 years. 

I am so blessed to have these girls in my life.  Love ya'll

Blogger put my pictures in backwards:(
Kristi, Sarah and I loaded up the kiddos and headed to pick strawberries.
The kids did great and had lots of fun.  But trying to keep 2 year olds off the plants was a challenge. 
Afterwards we took them to the park to burn off energy. 
We ended the playdate at Moe's for lunch.
