Emma's Birth
Our morning started at 3:30 am- the alarm went off. Chris and I were out the door and on the road at 4:40 am. Checked into the hospital at 5:30 am. We arrived at our labor and delivery room at 6:10 am. I was hooked up to pitocin by 6:30 am. When I arrived for my induction I was still a 1 and 80% effaced. So I had a long day ahead of me. (So I thought- we were thinking 4:00pm)
6:30 am- ready to meet my baby girl
Excited parents
My labor progressed beautifully. I had an epidural and my water broke at 8:30 am. I went from a 5 to an 8 within 30 minutes. I called mom and told her to HURRY! My mom got there at 10:30am, Lisa got there at 10:45 am and my in laws got there about 11:15am. At this point I was a 9 then 9.5. She rolled me on my side and I felt it was time to push it was 11:32 and I had everyone leave the room.
